Muenster Grain Free Salmon Recipe is a poultry-free dry dog food made in Texas with salmon as the first ingredient. Salmon meal, whitefish meal and herring meal contribute to a fish-based recipe with 34% minimum crude protein and 20% minimum crude fat.

Fish protein in a grain-free kibble

Sweet potato, yellow peas, green peas and coconut meal are part of this grain-free formula. Canola oil, ground flaxseed, cod liver oil and green-lipped mussel join added taurine, vitamins, minerals and fermentation products. This recipe is made without chicken, turkey or egg ingredients.

Guaranteed minimums: 34% crude protein and 20% crude fat. Calorie content: 542 kcal per cup. Guaranteed minimums also include 2.30% omega-3 fatty acids, 3.40% omega-6 fatty acids and 0.10% DHA. Available in 22 lb and 4 lb bags.

When feeding one of our quality dog foods, we recommend you begin with the suggestions provided here and adjust to maintain body weight. We recommend feeding your dog at least twice per day. Growth

Introduce dry food around the 5th week and provide as much food as puppies will consume from weaning till full grown.

Reproduction

Provide increasing amounts of food the latter half of gestation. The amount may be twice the normal intake. Feed to consumption during lactation.

    Don't know why I left...

    I feed the Muenster Salmon for quite a while but eventually switched on recommendations from my breeder. Since then I've tried many different products but had issues with that yeasty smell. I finally switched him to raw. He did very well on raw diet for awhile (no more yeasty smell) but now he has allergy symptoms ( ear infections and red paws).

    Looking back he always did well on the this food. Lesson learned... If he's doing good don't switch. I will be ordering this again right now.
