Description

Muenster Perfect Balance Chicken Bites are Texas-made freeze-dried dog food formulated for adult maintenance, with chicken as the first ingredient. Chicken meal, coconut, dried eggs, and sweet potato round out a recipe you can serve as a meal, mix with kibble, or use as a flavorful topper.

Key Benefits

  • Chicken is the first ingredient, followed by chicken meal, dried coconut, dried eggs, and sweet potato.
  • Includes added vitamins, minerals, and probiotics.
  • Complete and balanced nutrition for adult maintenance.
  • Serve as a meal, topper, or reward.
  • Freeze-dried and made in Texas.

How to Serve

  • As a meal: Follow the Feeding Guidelines for your dog's weight and life stage.
  • As a topper or mixer: Add to your dog's usual food and reduce the base portion to account for the added calories.
  • As a reward: Offer individual bites during training or enrichment, counting them toward daily food intake.

Serve dry or rehydrate with warm water as directed in the Feeding Guidelines. Transition gradually over 7 days and always provide fresh drinking water.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is freeze-drying?

Freeze-drying removes moisture from frozen ingredients at low temperatures, creating a lightweight, shelf-stable product while preserving flavor and nutritional value.

What are the benefits of freeze-dried dog food and treats?

Freeze-dried products offer a convenient way to add animal protein, flavor, texture, and variety to your dog's routine without the need for refrigeration before opening.

Can I mix freeze-dried products with kibble?

Yes. Freeze-dried products can be mixed with kibble or served alongside your dog's regular food. Be sure to account for the additional calories when determining your dog's total daily feeding amount.

Can freeze-dried products be used for picky eaters?

Yes. The flavor and aroma of freeze-dried ingredients can make them an appealing addition to your dog's bowl. Try crumbling a small amount over their regular food or adding water for a softer texture.

How should I store freeze-dried products after opening?

Keep the package tightly sealed and store it in a cool, dry place away from excess heat and moisture.

Do freeze-dried products add calories to my dog's diet?

Yes. Freeze-dried products contribute calories just like any other food or treat. Consider the calories from freeze-dried products as part of your dog's overall daily intake.

How do I transition my dog to this food?

Transition over 7 to 10 days by gradually increasing the amount of the new food while decreasing your dog's current food.

Where are Muenster freeze-dried products made?

Muenster freeze-dried products are made in our facility in Denton, Texas.

Freeze Dried Chicken Bites Dog Food

My dogs LOVE IT. If it weren't so expensive, I'd buy it more regularly. But I still might buy another bag here and there.
